To be eligible for ATR a Client must:
|
|
Have a substance abuse or dependance problem requiring treatment and meet at lease one of the following two criteria:
|
|
* Age 25 or younger using any drugs.
or
* Over 25 years of age and have used methamphetamines in the past 90 days or if institutionalized, in the 90 days prior to institutionalization.

Additonal ATR criterion:
|
|
1. Have no private or public health insurance covering substance abuse treatment or inadequate insurance coverage for the substance abuse services needed
2. If court-ordered to treatment, the referring agency or court must allow the ATR assessment to determine the level of care and allow the client to choose a provider
3. Need treatment rather than education or prevention services (not entering services solely to satisfy Driving Under the Influence, Minor in Possession or Domestic Violence requirements)
4. Participate in an independent assessment of treatment needs conducted by Mines and Associates or on of their affiliates.
5. Receive services in an ATR service area—Colorado Springs area
(El Paso and Teller Counties), Metro Denver, West along the I-70 corridor from Summit County to Grand Junction, and North to Ft. Collins. Additional areas may be added at a later date.

1. One out of seven high school graduates has earned his or her diploma through a GED program.
2. Famous people who have a GED:
Bill Cosby, NAACP President Kewisi Mafume, U.S. Senator Ben Nighthourse Campbell of Colorado.
3. Research shows that some employers show interviewers with a GED favor because they have demonstrated competency in basic skills and have the discipline to complete a lengthy exam.
4. Having a GED will increase a person's income by at least 15% over a five-year period. A person with a GED will earn $385,000 more then a person without a GED or a high school diploma.
5. Over 1,000,000 took the GED in the U.S. last year. Of those, Over 66% passed the complete test. |
